Linda was born and raised in the East Bay and had extensive knowledge of the region. She attended local schools, her three brothers grew up and went to Piedmont Schools, and Linda raised her son in Piedmont. She owned homes and apartment buildings in the region. Beyond her love for family and real estate, Linda’s other passions are travel, art, design, photography, and sailing. She was a successful high school swimmer, and her son is an avid competitive sailor.
Linda received a BFA degree with Honors in Interior Architecture from CCA. Before graduating, she also won the coveted national Freshman Scholarship and later two other scholarships, Fine Arts and Design.
There's no one like Linda! We made a cross-country move to the Bay Area. Linda helped us get acquainted with several towns in the area by showing us properties, giving us insights on schools, town culture, etc. After deciding to rent, she helped us navigate the competitive rental market and went above and beyond in securing the property for us. During the rental period, she consistently kept us abreast of new homes that fit our criteria and market trends in the area. In the end, we found the perfect home and Linda made the process both thorough and seamless.
Throughout the last fifteen years, I have had the experience of purchasing and selling a few houses and moving a lot. Thus, I have seen and worked with quite a few real estate agents. Linda is one of the best real estate agents out there. She is a real professional. It took us a very long time to find the home that satisfied every criteria on our long list of must-haves and all throughout the process Linda was very patient, positive, and responsive. Linda has the tenacity to pursue every possible lead. She showed us numerous houses that were not even listed yet.
My wife and I are firm fans of Linda Van Drent. If we need a real estate transaction, she is our go-to agent. She recently sold our condo in Walnut Creek. It was sold within days after we gave Linda the listing, and the price was more than our original estimate. She guided us as to the price, and it was better than we had anticipated. We went to Linda for this sale because she represented us in buying our house in Oakland earlier in the year. We would not hesitate to recommend Linda for selling or buying a home. She knows the East Bay area; she knows its properties.
